Sarah Mitchell

By Sarah Mitchell, founder of The Menopause Sleep Method.

Lots of women in perimenopause and menopause wake up around 3am and can't fall back asleep.

Most are told "it's just menopause" and handed sleeping pills - or nothing. There is a better answer. It is already in the research. It just hasn't reached enough women yet.

The short version

What it is built on

The method uses CBT-I - a proven, drug-free way to retrain your sleep. It is what the American Academy of Sleep Medicine tells doctors to try first for long-term insomnia, before pills.

The research

In a 2016 study in JAMA Internal Medicine, 106 women going through menopause tried it. The ones who used CBT-I slept far better than the ones who didn't. View study →

We then shaped it around the menopause body - the night sweats, the 3am wake-up, the hormone changes - so it fits what is actually happening to you.

Why a program, not a doctor visit

CBT-I works, but it is hard to get. Many women are never offered it. If they are, they often wait months or pay a lot.

This is a simple audio program you do at home, at your own pace - no referral, and lifetime access.

Our mission: real, science-backed sleep help for women in menopause - without pills and without gatekeeping. It isn't easy. But it works, and you are not doing it alone.
